It has been way too long since I posted something here. Working a full-time job, living together with my partner (he also needs some attention..), and creating content for both my Instagram page and blog is not the easiest thing to do. I definitely still need to figure out the right balance..
Anyhow, last weekend was a long and fun one. On Friday our beloved king Willem-Alexander turned 51. On King’s Day you’ll be treated to a sea of orange in Amsterdam as everyone – including their pet – is covered head to toe in oranje (orange). Amidst orange-pride, live music, DJs, parties and a citywide street market, there is an electric atmosphere that makes this holiday different from all the others.
Now let’s talk about the outfit. Yesterday I was pleasantly surprised at the weather, it’s like someone turned the sun on…FINALLY! What was a brisk 50 degrees is now 60 or even 70 degrees! And this weekend will be even better <3 For today’s look I decided to dress for the occasion and wear something light and easy, perfect for those warm spring days. I paired my checked trousers with a light knitted jumper in merino wool and styled it up with my new pair of black sunglasses by AARI.BOSTROEM. It’s the perfect outfit for the in-between season because it’s dapper and city appropriate, but ready for any kind of coolness.
