New Year, New Beginnings

New Year, New Beginnings

It’s January 2018 already! Happy new year! Hope you all had a wonderful and safe New Years. I’m all about bettering oneself by making resolutions. This year I definitely want to post more often on my blog and show more variety in my looks. Just like everyone else I will also (try..) to workout more and get that #summerbody. What are your resolutions? Let me know in the comment section below! I’m really interested 🙂

How To Style A Quilted Jacket With Ease

No matter whether you are in the city running errands, or going to the countryside, quilted jackets are nearly always appropriate and are great for bridging the gap between sportswear and streetwear. There are many different ways to wear them, depending on your personal style. I like to make a bold and modern style statement by wearing a sporty black quilted jacket. This particular one is from the F/W17 collection by s.Oliver and has a silky matte finish. Wear your sporty bomber over a simple white or black tee and finish with slim-fit jeans and fashion trainers for an on-trend sport luxe aesthetic that is perfect for days out and about in the city. I decided to wear a pair of black chelsea boots as this suits more with my personal style.

Another way to wear a quilted jacket is by going for a leather one in black, grey or dark green. Leather will instantly give your look an edge, which is perfect for guys who enjoy going against the grain. Whatever form it’s in, the quilted jacket remains a piece of outerwear that will see you effortlessly through winter. It might come in new shapes and colors, but ultimately the principle remains the same: it’s designed to keep you warm, dry and effortlessly stylish.
